ARIMNET2 AKIS Conference in October

The ARIMNET2 project (arimnet2.net) is holding an International Conference for AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems) in the Mediterranean to be held on the 12-13th  October, 2016 in Antalya, Turkey.  The Mediterranean priorities (water scarcity, food security, nutrition, rural development, employment in the Med…) ask for increased effort to generate innovation and socio-economic impact of policies. It implies to modify the way research is conducted and funded. The objective of the conference is to bring together funding agencies, researchers and interested stakeholders to identify priorities to foster and improve the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems in the Mediterranean.

MCST is funding the participation of candidates in the upcoming conference and is therefore receiving applications from candidates that are interested in attending the conference. Applications may be received from (i) innovative farmers, (ii) agri-business stakeholders strongly involved in AKIS, and (iii) scientists. 

One person from each of these categories will be nominated by MCST to participate in the Conference.
