Senior Executive (Information & Communications Technology (ICT))

MCST is currently looking to recruit a Senior Executive (Information & Communications Technology (ICT)) on a full-time basis (40 hours per week, with a possible requirement to work in unscheduled hours (outside office hours including during weekends and public holidays). The Senior Executive (Information & Communications Technology (ICT)) would be responsible for the maintenance, administration, and further development of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure of MCST and Esplora and ensure that all users get maximum benefits from such infrastructure. S/he is also to provide technical support to all MCST units as and when required.

Skills, Knowledge and Relevant Qualifications:

MQF Level 7 qualification in ICT or IS or a relevant comparable professional qualification recognised by NCFHE, together with a minimum of 1-year relevant senior level work experience in an ICT environment.

OR

MQF Level 6 qualification in ICT or IS or a relevant comparable professional qualification recognised by NCFHE, together with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant senior level work experience in an ICT environment.

Working knowledge of:

* Routers – Failover / traffic shaping / QOS / Load Balancing on 3 ISP Links

* Layer 3 Switches, SVI QOS, stacked – Different switches throughout infrastructure

* Windows Servers (Hyper-V, VMWare, Active Directory, DNS, Dual Synchronous Servers, Certification Authority, Network Policy Server, Radius Server, DHCP Servers, SSTP / L2TP VPNs)

* Cloud Services (Office 365 integration and cloud services, such as Azure)

* SAN Systems – Synchronous Link

* NAS Systems – Synchronous Link

* High Availability Environment (Failover Cluster)

* Wi-Fi Controller with Failover (Client Authentication via Radius)

* Backup Systems (2 tape Drives / 2 NAS Drives) Veeam

* 3CX PABX including routed for softphones

* Multiple Service VM’s (Such as POS)

Executive (Information & Communications Technology (ICT))

MCST is currently looking to recruit an Executive (Information & Communications Technology (ICT)) on a full-time basis, i.e. 40 hours per week, with a possible requirement to work in unscheduled hours (outside office hours). The Executive (Information & Communications Technology (ICT)) would be responsible for the smooth running of the entity’s computer systems, that is servers, workstations and peripherals, networks, cameras, exhibits, point of sale system, websites, planetarium and all other ICT related hardware and software.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Master’s qualification at MQF Level 7 qualification in ICT or relevant comparable professional qualification recognised by NCFHE, together with a minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience in ICT and Administration environment.

OR

Bachelor’s qualification at MQF Level 6 qualification in ICT or relevant comparable professional qualification recognised by NCFHE, together with a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in ICT and Administration environment.

OR

Diploma qualification at MQF Level 5 qualification in ICT or relevant comparable professional qualification recognised by NCFHE, together with a minimum of six (6) years relevant work experience in ICT and administration environment.
