The Surface Engineering for Additive Manufactured parts used in marine transportation (SEAM) project kick-off meeting took place on Friday 18th September , a collaborative R & I project between researchers from the University of Malta and the South East University in China on developing novel manufacturing techniques in the marine transportation sector.
SEAM is the first awarded project under the SINO-Malta Fund, administered by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST).
The event was addressed by the Executive Chairman of MCST, Dr. Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, University of Malta Rector, Prof Alfred Vella and His Excellency, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Jiang Jiang.
