PRIMA Section 1 includes actions funded by PRIMA-Implementation Structure (EU contribution) following Transnational Calls organized by PRIMA-IS. Actions are evaluated, selected and funded in line with the Rules for Participation of Horizon 2020 and are centrally managed by the PRIMA-IS.
Grant agreements are to be signed with PRIMA-IS based on the H2020 Model Grant Agreement.
In Section 1, PRIMA supports four distinct types of actions as defined in the General Annex D of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020
- Research and innovation actions (RIA) – TRL 3-5
- Innovation actions (IA) – TRL 6-7
- Coordination and Support Action (CSA)
- Prizes “Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus Award”
