MCST champions the National Research & Innovation Strategy, and the current strategy takes us till 2020. We are therefore working on a new strategy for post-2020 and we are currently in the consultation phase. MCST relies on its stakeholders to contribute and design a bottom-up strategy that takes into account the needs of academia, business, Government and civil society.
The objective of this survey is to collect your opinion and suggestions on Malta’s future in research and innovation. MCST would like to understand what Malta should be focusing on, and whether we should look at new and upcoming areas that through investment in research and innovation, can provide a better quality of life, a stronger economy and knowledge-intensive jobs. We want to understand Malta’s challenges and opportunities and receive input on ideas and priority areas for a new strategy post-2020.
