Invitation to attend a Seminar on Opportunities with the EU Joint Research Centre

The Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) would like to cordially invite you to attend a seminar on the EU Joint Research Centre (JRC) and related experiential and collaboration opportunities for students, local researchers and industry players.

The JRC draws on over 50 years of scientific work experience to support EU policies with independent, evidence-based scientific and technical knowledge. Its work has a direct impact on the lives of citizens by contributing to a healthy and safe environment, secure energy supplies, ensuring sustainable mobility, and consumer health and safety amongst other key societal challenges. Its institutes collaborate with over a thousand organisations worldwide, whose scientists have access to many JRC facilities through various cooperation agreements.

Venue: Villa Bighi, Kalkara Malta

Time:     08.30hrs

This seminar is intended for academics, researchers, industry players and students who would like to learn more about ongoing collaborations between Malta and the JRC and who would like information on the various temporary and permanent placements and training opportunities offered by the JRC for scientific and technical people. We will also provide information on the research infrastructure facilities offered by the JRC.
