The Malta Council for Science and Technology has the pleasure of informing you that a Call, under the FUSION Technology Development Programme, will be issued on the 1 September 2015, and will run until its closing date, the 2 November 2015.
The following parties are eligible to apply:
1. Anyone who, by the 2 November 2015, would have completed all 3 Stages of the Commercialisation Voucher Programme.
2. Anyone who, by the 30 September 2015, submits the Technical Reports listed below, on their proposed project idea, as per guidelines attached:
– IP Check Report
– Market Research Report
– Product development Report
– Risk Profile Report
– Economic Impact Report.
With reference to point 2, all Technical Reports will be evaluated by the Council’s external evaluators and are required to adhere to the following conditions. Failure to do so will render any submission under the Technology Development Programme ineligible.
– All reports pass at the first round. (No amendments will be possible)
– The reports receive an aggregate score of >350 of a possible 500 points.
Please note that the council requires a minimum of 2 weeks to evaluate all technical reports. This should be taken into account when preparing your Technology Development Application.
The following schedule will be applicable:
18 August 2015: FUSION Technology Development Call Pre-announcement.
01 September 2015: FUSION Technology Development Call (Application template and Rules for Participation published on MCST website).
30 September 2015: Submission Deadline of Technical Reports (email: laurasue.mallia@gov.mt, keepingrtdi.mcst@gov.mt in copy).
02 November 2015: Deadline for Submission of Applications for the FUSION Technology Development Programme(email: elena.yasnetskaya@gov.mt keeping rtdi.mcst@gov.mt in copy).
