The Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) are relaunching the MCST-TÜBİTAK 2023 Joint Call for R&I Proposals to support cooperation in Science, Technology, and Innovation in the following thematic areas:
- PRIMA Programme Thematic fields (Water management, Sustainable Farming systems, Agro-food value chain)
- Digital Technologies
- Smart Manufacturing
- Health

Malta-based entities and Türkiye-based entities are invited to jointly apply for funding to undertake a R&I project in these thematic areas.
Eligible undertakings (State Aid) UPDATED as well as Public entities and Public Research & Knowledge Dissemination organisations that do not carry out an economic activity within the meaning of Article 107 TFEU (Non-State Aid) UPDATED can request up to EUR 100,000 per project proposal and will need to adhere to the National Rules for Participation. This Call involves a one-stage submission process, and the complete submission documentation needs to be received by the 15th May 2023 (23:59 CET).
Lead Malta-based applicants shall be required to submit a copy of the Joint Application Form and a National Administrative Form with the relevant annexes to prima.mcst@gov.mt on their own behalf, and if applicable on behalf of any other partners in the local consortium. Partner entities may choose to submit their own Annexes directly to MCST by the submission deadline.
